Job summary

Jobgether is seeking an Experienced Software Engineer for a partner company based in Saudi Arabia. You will contribute to products used by millions, working across publishing, e-commerce, social platforms, and other web experiences in a fully distributed environment.

You will ship frequently, participate in peer code reviews, and embrace modern tooling and AI-assisted workflows while maintaining high standards of quality, performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering production-quality software.
• Experience with multiple languages/frameworks; willingness to become highly proficient in PHP and JavaScript.
• Experience with software systems at scale or performance optimization.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a fully distributed, remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain high-quality software across a broad product ecosystem.
• Solve complex technical problems through debugging, investigation, and thoughtful engineering decisions.
• Work across multiple layers of the technology stack and understand performance implications.
• Contribute to products spanning content publishing, e-commerce, and social platforms.
• Develop and maintain scalable backend and frontend systems for high traffic and large datasets.
• Participate in frequent production deployments with CI, testing, and peer reviews.
