Qualifications

• 8-10+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
• React 18+ experience and modern patterns.
• Automation testing with Vitest or Jest.
• Strong SQL skills and relational databases knowledge.
• Tailwind CSS and TanStack Query proficiency.
• OAuth/OIDC and session-based authentication understanding.
• Designing and consuming APIs, including external integrations.
• Linux command-line proficiency.
• Git with collaborative branching and code reviews.
• Experience incorporating AI-powered development tools into workflow.
• Monorepo-based development experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, maintain, and improve web applications using Node.js, TypeScript, and React 18+.
• Own end-to-end features from design to deployment.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable RESTful APIs and external integrations.
• Create responsive UIs with React, Tailwind CSS, and TanStack Query.
• Implement secure authentication and authorisation solutions.
• Maintain high engineering standards through automated testing and code reviews.
• Write efficient SQL queries to support performance and scalability.
• Use Git for source control and collaboration.
• Leverage AI-powered coding assistants to boost productivity while maintaining quality.
• Work in Linux-based development and deployment environments.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and engineers.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and performance improvements across the stack.
