Job summary

USTBC ABB Installation Products Inc. is seeking a seasoned professional to coordinate High Power Rectifier projects in the Saudi Arabian market. You will support Project Managers in planning, execution, and on-time, on-budget delivery, while ensuring documentation accuracy and compliance with safety standards.

The role involves BOM coordination with SCM and involvement in FAT/SAT activities, with a hybrid onsite and ABB Office work model in the GCC region.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in High Power Rectifier / Electrical / Control / Automation Projects & Services.
• Fluent in English and Arabic communication.
• Diploma or Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation / Control Engineering.
• Experience with BOM, FAT/SAT, and site safety considerations.
• Hybrid work model in Saudi Arabia established.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project activities in collaboration with Project Managers.
• Support Project Managers in management and execution to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Review project plans and identify site safety and integrity topics before work begins.
• Prepare BOM and coordinate with SCM to ensure material readiness.
• Monitor invoicing requests and ensure documentation accuracy and consistency.

This position reports to:

ME Operation Manager

Your role and responsibilities (Mandatory)

In this role, you will have the opportunity to coordinate certain aspects of a project. Each day, you will support Project Managers in management and execution of project activities. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.

The work model for the role is: Hybrid - Onsite and ABB Office

This role is contributing to the Automation Business Area, Process Industries Division, Metals & Power Conversion Business Line primarily in Saudi Arabia and extended to GCC region . Main stakeholders are Metals, Chemical and Other Process Industries.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• High Power Rectifier / Electrical / Control / Automation Projects & Services
• Conducting analysis of plan versus actual project performance.
• Monitoring, controlling, and releasing requests for invoicing.
• Controlling documentation accuracy and consistency based on tasks assigned and procedures agreed upon with the customer.
• Reviewing project plans and ensuring that site safety and integrity topics are identified and addressed prior to the commencement of the project.
• BOM preparation and coordination with SCM
• FAT / SAT
