Qualifications

• Proven sea freight sales experience in Jeddah.
• Knowledge of local importers/exporters, manufacturers and trading companies.
• Established commercial relationships to generate new business.
• Track record of hitting sales targets and growing accounts.
• Understanding of FCL/LCL, pricing, lines, and forwarding procedures.
• Experience preparing quotations and negotiating freight rates.
• Good command of English; Arabic is a plus.

Responsibilities

Role Description:

Munawla Cargo Company is seeking an experienced Senior Sales Executive specializing in Sea Freight and Freight Forwarding, based in Jeddah, to drive business growth, acquire new customers, and expand the company’s market presence.

The ideal candidate must have proven sea freight sales experience, a strong understanding of the Jeddah logistics market, and established commercial relationships that can support new business development.

Key responsibilities include identifying and acquiring new customers, developing existing accounts, preparing competitive sea freight quotations, negotiating rates and commercial terms, and building long-term customer relationships. The role requires close coordination with pricing and operations teams to ensure competitive offers, efficient shipment handling, and high customer satisfaction.

The successful candidate will maintain an active sales pipeline, monitor competitor activities, identify new business opportunities, and achieve agreed sales and profitability targets.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Mandatory: Proven experience in sea freight sales and freight forwarding within the Jeddah market.
• Strong knowledge of the Jeddah customer base, including importers, exporters, manufacturers, trading companies, and other potential shipping customers.
• Established commercial relationships and the ability to leverage market knowledge to acquire new customers and generate profitable business.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing customer accounts.
• Solid knowledge of FCL and LCL shipments, sea freight pricing, shipping lines, overseas agents, and import/export procedures.
• Experience preparing quotations, negotiating freight rates, and managing customer relationships.
• Good understanding of the Saudi freight forwarding market and local competition.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
• Good command of English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
