Job summary

Talent Diamond in Jeddah is seeking a Sales Executive – Freight & Logistics Services to develop new business, manage customer relationships and sell ocean, air and road freight services across the Saudi market. You will identify opportunities and convert prospects into active accounts while engaging with operations to ensure smooth shipment execution.

The ideal candidate has proven freight-forwarding or logistics sales experience in Saudi Arabia, a solid grasp of freight pricing and quotations,

Qualifications

• Proven previous experience in freight-forwarding or logistics sales within Saudi Arabia is mandatory.
• Experience selling FCL (Full Container Load) and LCL (Less than Container Load) ocean-freight services.
• Experience in air freight and road freight is preferred.
• Existing customer relationships or an established customer base in the Saudi market would be a strong advantage.
• Good understanding of freight pricing, quotations and gross-profit margins.
• Strong sales, communication and negotiation skills.
• Proven ability to develop new business and close deals.
• Results-driven and comfortable working against sales targets.
• Strong customer relationship-management skills.
• Good Arabic and English communication skills.
• Valid Saudi driving licence is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new customers and genuine business opportunities.
• Promote and sell ocean freight services, including FCL and LCL shipments.
• Promote air freight and road transportation solutions.
• Prepare competitive quotations based on customer requirements.
• Follow up on quotations and commercial opportunities.
• Negotiate commercial terms and close sales.
• Develop strong and long-term relationships with customers.
• Manage customers from initial sales opportunity through booking and shipment execution.
• Follow up on payment collection where required.
• Achieve monthly targets for shipment volume and gross profit.
• Coordinate closely with operations to ensure smooth shipment execution.
• Monitor freight-market activity, competitors and freight rates.
• Maintain accurate records of customers, opportunities and sales activities in the company system.
• Regularly follow up with existing and prospective customers.
