Job summary

Parsons Corporation is seeking a seasoned Safety Engineer to lead HSE policy implementation and field safety oversight on highway, bridge, and underpass projects in Dubai. The role focuses on ensuring compliance with UAE regulations, conducting site inspections, and coordinating corrective actions with Contractors and the Safety Manager.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in Safety-related field, NEBOSH IGC or equivalent, and 8+ years of UAE project experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health or a construction-related engineering discipline.
• Internationally approved safety training or courses.
• Minimum 8 years of Safety Engineer experience on highway, bridge, and underpass projects in the UAE.
• Recognized health and safety education and relevant certifications (e.g., NEBOSH IGC, Safety Diploma, First Aid, Fire Safety).
• Knowledge of UAE federal laws, Dubai Municipality Code of Construction Safety Practice, RTA guidelines.
• Experience reviewing safety plans, risk assessments, and conducting site inspections.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor HSE policies and project safety plans.
• Review contractor safety plans, method statements, and risk assessments.
• Conduct construction site safety inspections and identify noncompliance.
• Coordinate with Safety Manager and contractors to improve safety standards.
• Report safety findings and track corrective actions.
• Monitor HSE performance against targets and generate reports.
