Job summary

Parsons is seeking an experienced Roads Design Engineer to join our PMO team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, working on major highways and infrastructure projects.

You will review designs, develop conceptual options, contribute to value engineering, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated road solutions while ensuring standards compliance and clear communication with clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with strong emphasis on road design and traffic engineering.
• Experience reviewing third-party designs and providing robust, structured comments.
• Knowledge of pavement design principles and road safety engineering is essential.

Responsibilities

• Reviews road and highway design drawings, reports, and specifications prepared by third-party designers at concept and detailed design stages.
• Develops conceptual design options for roads, junctions, and interchanges to support PMO and client decisions.
• Contributes to value engineering studies for highways and interchanges to optimize geometry, pavement solutions and safety features.
• Prepares engineering details, sketches, and exhibits to illustrate design concepts and clarifications.
• Reviews pavement design and road safety elements prepared by third parties for technical soundness.
