Job summary

Parsons invites an Engineering Manager – Roads and Structures in Riyadh to lead multidisciplinary civil and structural teams through concept, detailed design, construction support and handover. You will direct roads, highways, bridges, drainage, earthworks, tunnels, and infrastructure design management with senior technical oversight.

This senior role requires 10+ years in civil/structural engineering, strong leadership, and experience in large highway programs within Saudi contexts, including

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or closely related field.
• Minimum 10 years in civil and structural engineering for roads, highways, and infrastructure projects.
• Experience in design management, technical coordination, and multidisciplinary delivery.
• Strong background in highway geometry, road alignments, junction design, earthworks, drainage, pavements, bridges, and civil structures.
• Experience with major highways, urban roads, infrastructure corridors, or large civil programs.
• Ability to review and challenge engineering deliverables, calculations, and drawings.
• Understanding of design standards, authority requirements, and safety in design.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil, road, highway, and structural engineering activities across projects and programs.
• Provide senior technical direction for roads, civils, bridges, drainage, tunnels, and culverts.
• Define and implement engineering standards, procedures, and governance.
• Escalate critical design decisions, risks, and coordination challenges.
• Ensure designs prioritize safety, durability, maintainability, and whole-life costs.
• Plan engineering activities from concept through construction handover.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams for integrated outputs.
• Review alignments, drawings, and technical submissions.
• Support approvals with authority comments and planning requirements.
• Mentor and develop engineers and CAD/BIM staff.
