Job summary

IDOM Consulting, Engineering and Architecture seeks a Senior Road Engineer to join its Project and Construction Management team in Riyadh. The role leads technical road works, coordinating with other disciplines and ensuring quality control through design and construction phases.

You bring a Civil Engineering degree with road design specialization, 15+ years of mega-project consultancy experience, and the ability to work in a multinational environment while complying with local codes and safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with road design specialization.
• Formal qualifications/affiliations to RICS, IQS, ICES, or CIOB.
• Over 15 years in project management on mega construction projects as a consultant.

Responsibilities

• Technical control of all roads works and coordination with other disciplines and quality control.
• Amplifies or resolves design issues, coordinating with home office support as needed.
• Advise technically on design changes.
• Oversee contractor’s technical submissions, shop drawings, materials and design submissions.
• Final review of all contractor drawings, schedules or submittals for design concept compliance.
• Assess and report on Value Engineering proposals.
