Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a highly experienced Resident Engineer to lead site supervision for a prestigious Riyadh development. You will act as the on-site representative, ensuring works meet designs, standards and schedules while coordinating multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.

You will oversee QA/QC, HSSE compliance, testing, commissioning, and handover activities, with a focus on safety culture and regulatory adherence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil/related field is required.
• Minimum 20+ years of overall experience in construction and engineering projects.
• Minimum 10 years of experience as a Resident Engineer on major buildings.
• Extensive experience with large-scale buildings and mixed-use developments.
• Experience with FIDIC contract administration and construction management.
• Fluent English; Arabic language skills are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Act as the Consultant’s primary site representative and lead all project site supervision activities.
• Manage multidisciplinary teams across civil, structural, architectural, MEP, infrastructure, and specialist systems.
• Ensure construction works comply with drawings, specifications, contract requirements, and applicable codes.
• Review contractor submissions including shop drawings, method statements, and technical proposals.
• Lead progress and coordination meetings with stakeholders; guide technical issue resolution.
• Support commercial teams in evaluating variations, claims, and EOT requests.
