Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking an experienced Field Engineer - Structural for a major development project in Riyadh. The role focuses on supervising and inspecting structural works to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, codes, and schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum 8+ years in structural engineering and construction supervision.
• 5+ years as Structural Field Engineer/Site Engineer/Inspector on major building projects.
• Experience with large-scale buildings, hospitality, or mixed-use developments.
• Knowledge of reinforced concrete, structural steel, precast, and foundations.
• Familiarity with international structural design codes (ACI, AISC, BS, Eurocodes).

Responsibilities

• Supervise structural construction activities per designs, specs, and contract requirements.
• Conduct inspections of foundations, concrete, steel, precast, and temporary works.
• Review drawings, shop drawings, and submissions for constructability.
• Verify adherence to approved methodologies and standards.
• Monitor contractor performance vs. construction schedules.
• Witness testing and material quality assessments for structural works.
• Coordinate with Cx disciplines to resolve interface issues.
• Review RFIs, technical queries, and site instructions.
• Prepare inspection and site observation reports and progress updates.
