Job summary

Mace seeks a senior PMO/Project Controls leader for a transformative mixed-use development in Abha, Saudi Arabia. You will drive programme controls, reporting, and dashboard delivery within an integrated multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include stakeholder reporting, risk management, and BI tooling using Power BI, SharePoint, and Primavera P6. Experience in large-scale projects and adherence to HSE standards are required.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent required; chartership ongoing with a recognised body.
• Proven PMO and Project Controls leadership on complex projects.
• Advanced Excel, VBA, SharePoint, Power BI, PowerApps, Primavera P6 skills are essential.
• Experience in designing, building and deploying BI/reporting solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain robust programme status collection tools and forms.
• Manage production, validation, and distribution of regular and ad-hoc reports.
• Establish and oversee timelines for report submissions and reviews.
• Consolidate, review, and issue dashboards; elevate risks/issues as needed.
• Define dashboard requirements and ensure delivery aligns with user needs.
• Implement consistent reporting procedures and conduct quality reviews.
• Use SharePoint, Power BI, PMIS, and data modelling for traceable insights.
• Support cost, schedule, change, risk, and performance reporting processes.
• Facilitate reviews and ensure transparent reporting to stakeholders.
• Identify process enhancements and stay updated on best practices.
• Contribute to net zero carbon transition and manage related emissions.

You’ll Be Responsible For

• Develop and maintain tools/forms to collect programme status from stakeholders.


• Manage production, validation, and distribution of regular and ad-hoc reports.


• Establish and oversee timelines for report submissions and reviews.


• Consolidate, review, and issue dashboards; elevate risks/issues as needed.


• Define dashboard requirements and ensure delivery aligns with user needs.

• Use SharePoint, PowerBI, PMIS, and data modelling to ensure traceable, reliable insights.


• Support cost, schedule, change, risk, and performance reporting processes.


• Facilitate reviews, ensure transparent reporting, and respond professionally.


• Identify process enhancements and stay updated on best practices and tools.


• Works collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.

You’ll Need To Have

• Relevant degree or equivalent. Progressing toward chartership with a recognised professional body and ongoing professional development.


• Proven PMO and Project Controls leadership on complex projects.


• Advanced Competence in using Excel, VBA, SharePoint, Power BI, PowerApps, Primavera 6.


• Design, build and deploy BI solutions (e.g. reporting tools) and minimum 20 years’ experience in construction or engineering projects.


• Proven leadership in health, safety and wellbeing, delivering measurable outcomes and embedding best practice.


• Strong knowledge and application of relevant legislation within complex organisational environments.


• Effective communicator with analytical capability and ability to engage, influence and build trusted stakeholder relationships.


• Necessary visa criteria for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and have relevant work experience working on high-valued projects/programmes for a project management consultancy business, which are required for immigration and client approval.
