Job summary

Mace seeks a senior PMO scheduler for a major mixed-use development in Riyadh. You will drive scheduling integrity, monitor progress, and ensure alignment with PMO standards while coordinating with cross-functional teams to maintain integrated master schedules.

Ideally you hold a relevant degree and PMP/PMI-SP or are working toward it. Experience in PMO environments with planning/scheduling and EVM on large residential or infrastructure projects is essential.

Qualifications

• A relevant degree is required.
• Professional membership (or working towards) PMP, PMI-SP, or equivalent.
• Proven experience delivering residential and/or infrastructure projects within a PMO environment.
• Strong expertise in project controls, including planning/scheduling and earned value management (EVM).
• Necessary visa criteria for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and experience on high-value projects for a consultancy are required.

Responsibilities

• Conducts regular site visits to validate progress and schedule accuracy.
• Reviews and analyses schedules, including critical paths, float, and change documentation.
• Monitors progress against baselines and reports performance and delays.
• Evaluates data (procurement, quality) to inform schedule health.
• Prepares monthly planning reports highlighting risks and trends.
• Collaborates with PMCs and design consultants to ensure productivity outputs.
• Develops and maintains integrated master schedules (Level 3 to Level 2).
• Coordinates with cross-functional teams to ensure timely information flow.

The Project

This opportunity is to be involved in a major mixed-use development, in Riyadh. The programme consists of over 200 projects including cultural and heritage assets, F&B, retail and hotels, commercial buildings and educational facilities.

Mace is currently providing the programme management and are looking for high-calibre experienced people.

You’ll Be Responsible For

• Conducts regular site visits to validate real-time progress and schedule accuracy.
• Reviews and analyses schedules, including critical paths, float, and change documentation.
• Assesses mitigation schedules, providing independent analysis and recommendations.
• Monitors progress against baseline programmes, identifying delays and reporting performance.
• Evaluates supporting data (e.g., procurement, quality) to inform schedule health.
• Prepares monthly planning reports highlighting risks, trends, and impacts on progress.
• Tracks project performance, identifying trends and developing mitigation strategies.
• Manages and assesses project interfaces that may impact delivery.
• Collaborates with PMCs and design consultants to ensure accurate productivity outputs.
• Develops and maintains integrated master schedules (Level 3 to Level 2).
• Ensures alignment with PMO standards, reviewing dashboards and planning procedures.
• Coordinates with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate, timely information flow.
• Works collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition, and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.

You’ll Need To Have

• Relevant degree qualification.
• Professional membership (or working towards) PMP, PMI-SP, or equivalent.
• Proven experience delivering residential and/or infrastructure projects within a PMO environment.
• Demonstrates strong expertise in project controls, including planning/scheduling and earned value management (EVM).
• Necessary visa criteria for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and have relevant work experience working on high-valued projects/programmes for a project management consultancy business, which are required for immigration and client approval.
