Job summary

Mace in Abha, Saudi Arabia, seeks a PMO/Project Controls leader to drive programme status collection, reporting and dashboard delivery on a high-value mixed-use development.

You will manage schedules, risk reviews and stakeholder reporting within an integrated, multidisciplinary team while ensuring quality and governance across the project lifecycle. Visa criteria apply; flexible/hybrid options may be considered.

Qualifications

  • Relevant degree or equivalent. Progressing toward chartership with a recognised professional body and ongoing professional development.
  • Proven PMO and Project Controls leadership on complex projects.
  • Advanced competence in using Excel, VBA, SharePoint, Power BI, PowerApps, Primavera P6.
  • Design, build and deploy BI solutions and minimum 20 years’ experience in construction or engineering projects.
  • Proven leadership in health, safety and wellbeing, delivering measurable outcomes and embedding best practice.
  • Strong knowledge and application of relevant legislation within complex organisational environments.
  • Effective communicator with analytical capability and ability to engage, influence and build trusted stakeholder relationships.
  • Necessary visa criteria for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and have relevant work experience working on high-valued projects/programmes for a project management consultancy business, which are required for immigration and client approval.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain tools/forms to collect programme status from stakeholders.
  • Manage production, validation, and distribution of regular and ad-hoc reports.
  • Establish and oversee timelines for report submissions and reviews.
  • Consolidate, review, and issue dashboards; elevate risks/issues as needed.
  • Define dashboard requirements and ensure delivery aligns with user needs.
  • Implement consistent reporting procedures and conduct quality reviews.
  • Use SharePoint, PowerBI, PMIS, and data modelling to ensure traceable, reliable insights.
  • Support cost, schedule, change, risk, and performance reporting processes.
  • Facilitate reviews, ensure transparent reporting, and respond professionally.
  • Identify process enhancements and stay updated on best practices and tools.
  • Works collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.

You’ll Be Responsible For
