Job summary

Mace in Riyadh is seeking experienced professionals to lead planning and scheduling across a major mixed-use development programme in Riyadh, spanning cultural and heritage assets, F&B, retail, hotels, commercial buildings and education facilities.

You will drive planning excellence within a PMO, apply earned value management, communicate with clients and senior leaders, and guide teams to deliver value while aligning with Mace standards and net zero objectives.

Qualifications

• Degree and chartered membership or recognised professional certification preferred.
• Professional membership (or working towards) with APM, RICS, CIOB, ICE, AACE, IRM, IEMA, or equivalent.
• Proven experience delivering residential and/or infrastructure projects within a PMO environment; strong capability in managing complex programmes and schedules, translating data into clear insights for a range of stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead application of planning and scheduling methods, tools, and techniques.
• Apply strong knowledge of project controls and Earned Value Management.
• Communicate effectively with clients, project teams and stakeholders.
• Influence complex requirements, providing clear analysis and corrective measures.
• Manage and develop teams delivering planning and schedule management services.
• Guide clients to adopt proposals and recommendations with confidence.
• Undertake tasks required to fulfil project and assignment objectives.
• Drive excellence in planning and project controls, aligned with Mace standards.
• Works collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition, and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.

This opportunity is to be involved in a major mixed‑use development, in Riyadh. The programme consists of over 200 projects including cultural and heritage assests, F&B, retail and hotels, commercial buildings and educational facilities.

Mace is currently providing the programme management and are looking for high‑calibre experienced people.

You’ll Be Responsible For

• Lead application of planning and scheduling methods, tools, and techniques.

You’ll Need To Have

• Relevant degree and chartered membership or recognised professional certification preferred.
• Professional membership (or working towards) with APM, RICS, CIOB, ICE, AACE, IRM, IEMA, or equivalent.
• Proven experience delivering residential and/or infrastructure projects within a PMO environment. Strong capability in managing complex programmes and schedules, translating data into clear insights for a range of stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients, project teams, and senior leaders.
• High attention to detail, supported by relevant construction‑related qualifications or equivalent practical experience.
• Necessary visa criteria for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and have relevant work experience working on high‑valued projects/programmes for a project management consultancy business, which are required for immigration and client approval.
