Job summary

Hitachi Rail is seeking a Contract Manager in Saudi Arabia to oversee the full lifecycle of contractual activities for large-scale railway signalling projects. You will safeguard commercial interests, ensure compliance, manage claims and variations, and advise project leadership across functions.

The role requires strong negotiation, stakeholder management and a deep understanding of international contractual frameworks such as FIDIC. Fluency in Arabic and English is advantageous.

Qualifications

• 3–10 years experience in contract management
• Experience with EPC, turnkey or railway signalling contracts
• Experience with public sector clients in Saudi Arabia
• Fluent in Arabic and English

Responsibilities

• Lead the contract management function from award to close-out
• Ensure compliance with terms, policies, and legal frameworks
• Provide commercial guidance to project leaders
• Manage variations, claims and dispute resolution
• Coordinate with legal, finance, procurement and project teams
