Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Saudi Arabia is seeking a Contracts Manager to oversee all contract activities for the rail construction project. You will ensure compliance with contract obligations, lead negotiations with clients and contractors, and support the construction supervision phase.

You will manage risk, report progress to the client, coordinate with departments, and drive contract progress meetings. A background in engineering or construction management, strong negotiation skills, and familiarity

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or related field; master’s preferred.
• Minimum 12 years in contract management, with construction or infra experience.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Familiarity with FIDIC contracts; CPCM or equivalent desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the administration of all contracts related to the project, ensuring compliance with legal, financial, and corporate protocols.
• Lead negotiations for complex contractual issues, representing the organization in discussions with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate contractual risks, providing advice on potential opportunities and threats.
• Provide regular progress reports to the client and internal stakeholders, highlighting any contractual risks and opportunities.
• Liaise with the Claims Manager to ensure a robust response to any claims, in compliance with the contract.
• Ensure the provision of all necessary technical data to the Contract Administration Senior Manager.
• Prepare and deliver contractual presentations as required.
• Work closely with the required departments to ensure compliance with any legal, financial, and corporate protocols.
• Drive progression via contractual progress meetings, ensuring all contractual obligations are met.
