Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a seasoned Quantity Surveyor to support the NEOM water infrastructure project through close-out. You will manage measurement, valuation, payments, variations and final accounts, coordinating with the project team and contractors on site.

The role requires strong discipline in cost control, contractual administration and reporting, plus experience with progress and final account preparation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or Cost Management on infrastructure projects.
• Strong measurement, valuation, payment certification, variations and final accounts knowledge.
• Experience with standard contracts and commercial documentation, including BOQ and change control.

Responsibilities

• Review, measure, and verify completed works for interim and final valuations.
• Assess contractor payment applications and prepare recommendations per contract.
• Maintain records of quantities, costs, variations and commercial correspondence.
• Support final accounts with contractors/subcontractors and negotiate where required.
• Evaluate variations and scope changes, and assist with claims and disputes.
• Monitor project costs, budgets, forecasts and cost reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly commercial reports and cost forecasts.
• Coordinate with engineering, construction, and client teams for timely close out.
• Support handover with complete commercial deliverables.
