Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the NEOM project, delivering commercial leadership across a major programme. You will oversee cost control, contracts, measurements, variances and progress payments while working with project teams to ensure delivery and commercial performance.

The role requires extensive QS experience, strong leadership, and proficiency with QS software. Onsite at the NEOM site with the Jacobs team, contributing to a high-profile civil and infrastructure

Qualifications

• Chartered status preferred.
• 10+ years’ Quantity Surveying experience, including 5+ years on infrastructure projects and 3+ years in the Middle East.
• Strong expertise in estimating, measurement and remeasurement, with knowledge of contracts, docs, drawings and specs, and ability to lead QS teams.
• Proficient in QS software and digital tools.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in financial and contractual aspects of multiple work packages.
• Prepare minutes of progress meetings.
• Manage financial and contractual matters across work packages.
• Finalize monthly payment certificates with assistance from QS.
• Maintain cost and quantity records.
• Advise on measurement procedures and interim/final quantities.
• Evaluate unit rates for new work items.
• Record day works and monitor details.
• Advise on contractor resource allocation.
• Prepare monthly cost reports.
• Review contractor payments and valuations.
• Verify measurements and completed works.
• Monitor project costs and expenditure records.
• Coordinate team activities and commercial processes; finalize Final Accounts.
