Job summary

Jacobs seeks an Electrical & ICT Commissioning Engineer – Water Assets to join NEOM and provide contractual leadership across a major programme bridging construction and energization. The role ensures all electrical infrastructure, instrumentation, and digital telemetry systems meet NEOM standards before handovers to ENOWA.

The position requires 10+ years in electrical QA/QC inspection and testing, with a site-based presence and knowledge of SBC/MEWA standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Automation, or Instrumentation Engineering.
• 10+ years of combined experience in Electrical QA/QC inspection and Electrical Testing & Commissioning.
• Working knowledge of the Saudi Building Code (SBC), MEWA guidelines, and relevant international standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct QA/QC inspections for electrical/ICT installations against IFC drawings and specs.
• Inspect and audit installations including cable trays, switchboards, instrumentation, and related infrastructure.
• Review technical docs such as submittals, ITPs, method statements, and factory test certificates.
