Job summary

WSP in the Middle East is seeking a highly experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor in Riyadh to manage quantity surveying for a major roads and highways project. The role requires leadership across multiple sites, strong cost control, and expert contract administration within a demanding infrastructure program.

The ideal candidate will have 15+ years in quantity surveying, experience with road/rail/tunnel projects, and proficiency with CostX or Candy. English fluency is essential; Arabic is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 15 years in quantity surveying with large-scale infra project experience.
• Experience in road, bridge, highway, tunnel, rail, metro projects is ideal.
• Proficiency in CostX, Candy or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of Saudi contract methods and procurement practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead quantity surveying for multiple infrastructure projects, ensuring accuracy and budgets.
• Provide expert guidance on cost estimation, control, procurement, and contract administration.
• Conduct cost analysis, tender evaluations and value engineering.
• Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to develop surveying strategies.
• Review contracts, variations and claims; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Prepare bills of quantities, cost reports and forecasts for stakeholders.
• Monitor progress and financial performance, identify risks and corrective actions.
• Mentor and train junior surveyors.
• Represent the company in client meetings and workshops.
