Job summary

KBR is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor for a major infrastructure programme in Riyadh. The role involves coordinating with PMCs, managing executive commercial reporting, and supporting pre/post contract activities to prevent schedule slippage and cost overruns.

The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in engineering or quantity surveying, 15+ years post-graduation experience, and fluency in English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or quantity surveying.
• 15+ years post-graduation experience.
• MRICS, CIOB or equivalent is an advantage.
• Experience with major civil & infrastructure projects including urban developments, high-rise buildings, roads, bridges, utilities.
• Proficient with MS Office and cost estimating software.
• Experience with international contracting mechanisms including FIDIC and NEC.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Assist with development and implementation of standard cost and commercial reporting formats for PMCs.
• Monitor construction progress by measuring installed quantities against planned quantities.
• Coordinate with PMCs to compile and validate analytical commercial data.
• Provide analytical data for executive risk reporting.
• Develop Project Cost Reports and Cashflows and integrate data across platforms.
• Review procurement guidelines for BoQ and tender documents.
• Prepare consolidated cost reports and monthly cashflow submissions to client.
• Prepare and develop cost benchmark reports for various indices and market analyses.
• Develop cost benchmarking templates and cost plan formats for PMCs.
• Participate in change control process and programme baselines updates.
• Support weekly, monthly, and quarterly project progress meetings.
