Job summary

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Contract Manager for a major programme at NEOM in Saudi Arabia. You will lead contract administration, provide expert advice, and work with client teams to manage risks, negotiations and reporting across the project lifecycle.

You will bring Chartered status, 20+ years of infrastructure contract experience, and strong leadership to ensure compliant, timely delivery while maintaining stakeholder confidence and commercial integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or related discipline from an internationally recognised university.
• Minimum 20 years experience.
• Chartered status with a recognised professional body (e.g., RICS, CIOB) or equivalent.
• Strong experience managing contracts on major infrastructure, building or complex development projects.
• Extensive knowledge of contract administration, commercial negotiations, risk management, cost planning and claims.
• Proven ability to lead contract activities and provide technical guidance on complex matters.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

• Review RFPs, tender documents and contract terms to identify risks, obligations and non-compliance.

• Assist in preparing, assessing and negotiating claims, change requests and variations.

About the Opportunity

As a Senior Contract Manager, you will manage commercial and contractual activities across a significant project at NEOM. Working closely with the client’s commercial team, project leadership and key stakeholders, you will provide expert contract advice, support negotiations and ensure contracts are administered effectively throughout the project lifecycle.

You will play a key role in identifying and managing contractual risks, resolving complex commercial matters and maintaining clear reporting on the project’s contractual position. You will also provide technical guidance to the wider contracts team, helping to promote consistency, compliance and commercial best practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage contract administration activities throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring contractual obligations, procedures and timelines are effectively maintained.
• Review requests for proposals, tender documents and contract terms to identify commercial risks, obligations and areas of non-compliance.
• Lead or support negotiations relating to complex, sensitive or high-value contractual matters.
• Provide expert contractual advice to the client, project leadership and key stakeholders.
• Monitor contractual performance, risks, variations, claims and commercial issues, providing clear and timely reporting.
• Support the preparation, assessment and negotiation of claims, change requests and contract variations.
• Collaborate with project, commercial, procurement and legal teams to resolve contractual matters and support successful project delivery.
• Provide technical guidance to contracts personnel, promoting consistency, compliance and commercial best practice.
• Maintain accurate contract records, correspondence, notices and supporting documentation.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by keeping up to date with relevant contractual developments and industry practices.

Here's what you'll need
