Job summary

Client of Associated Talent Consultants in Saudi Arabia seeks a Quality Control Manager to oversee quality controls for raw materials, packaging, production processes and finished products across facilities.

Reporting to the Head of Quality, the role leads 4 direct and 13 indirect reports, driving regulatory compliance (ISO, FSSC 22000, SASO, HACCP) and supplier evaluation while coordinating with R&D, QA and manufacturing to strengthen product quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and strong knowledge of quality systems.
• 5+ years in a managerial quality role within the food industry.
• 6+ years non-managerial experience in food industry; minimum 2 years in the Middle East.

Responsibilities

• Develop and update quality plans and material/process specifications for consistent product quality across facilities.
• Investigate customer/consumer complaints; identify root causes and communicate corrective actions.
• Maintain traceability systems and conduct recall exercises at least annually.
• Develop SPC and process maps; train QC and production teams in usage.
• Support commissioning of new lines and launches, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
• Review daily quality shift reports and coordinate actions with QC and cross-functional teams.
