Job summary

BEC Arabia is seeking an experienced QS Team Leader to join our Project Management team in Riyadh. This role involves leading quantity surveying activities, ensuring cost control, contract compliance, and financial efficiency across large-scale projects.

You will manage a team of quantity surveyors, collaborate with project managers and engineers, and drive cost-effective solutions for government mega-projects and infrastructure developments aligned with Saudi Vision 2030.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• MRICS or equivalent certification required.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6, AutoCAD, and cost management software like Candy CCS or CostX.

Responsibilities

• Lead the quantity surveying team and ensure deliverables meet timelines.
• Manage cost estimation, budgeting, and financial reporting for large-scale projects.
• Oversee preparation/review of BOQ, tender documents, and contract agreements.
• Ensure compliance with SBC, ARAMCO standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor project costs and provide accurate forecasts for financial efficiency.
• Negotiate contracts, variations, and claims with contractors and suppliers.
• Develop and implement cost control strategies to minimize risks and maximize profitability.
• Coordinate with PMs, engineers, and stakeholders to align cost objectives.
• Review/approve payment applications, invoices, and financial statements.
• Mentor junior QS staff and foster continuous improvement.
• Analyze market trends to support procurement decisions.
• Prepare detailed reports/presentations for senior management and clients.
