Job summary

hudsonmanpower is seeking an experienced QC Welding/Piping Inspector for Saudi Arabia. The role requires extensive QA/QC oversight of welding, piping, NDE coordination, and documentation to ensure compliance with ITPs, WPS/PQR, and project specs.

Minimum 8–10 years in QC welding/piping inspection within petrochemical environments, with SABIC project exposure highly preferred. A mechanical engineering degree and CSWIP 3.1 / AWS CWI or equivalent certification are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• CSWIP 3.1 / AWS CWI or equivalent certification is required.
• Strong knowledge of welding, piping, NDE, pressure testing and QC requirements.
• Experience with ITPs, WPS/PQR, welder qualifications, and quality documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead QA/QC activities for welding and piping, surveilling subcontractors and suppliers.
• Prepare records for quality surveillance, inspections, and testing.
• Coordinate NDE activities including RT, UT, MT, PT, and hardness tests.
• Review welding and inspection reports and ensure complete quality records.
• Support NCR closure and participate in quality audits and continuous improvement.
