Job summary

Zaramiz Company Limited in Saudi Arabia seeks an experienced QC Welding Inspector to monitor welding and fabrication activities at project sites nationwide. You will ensure compliance with approved drawings, ITPs, WPS/PQR, and Saudi Aramco requirements while coordinating with construction teams and inspectors.

The role requires a diploma or degree in Mechanical/Metallurgical Engineering, 6+ years of Gulf experience, and a CBT certification where applicable.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Metallurgical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 6+ years of relevant experience as a QC Welding Inspector.
• Proven Gulf experience (6+ years) preferred.
• Valid CBT certification, where applicable.
• Strong knowledge of WPS/PQR, ITP, NDT methods and QA/QC documentation.
• Familiarity with Saudi Aramco project specifications and international welding codes.
• Candidates currently in Saudi Arabia will be prioritized; open to candidates from India, Pakistan, Philippines; Saudi Nationals are not eligible.

Responsibilities

• Inspect welding and fabrication activities to ensure compliance with drawings, ITPs, and standards.
• Perform fit-up, welding, visual, dimensional, and final inspections.
• Verify welder qualifications, consumables, joint prep, preheating, interpass temperature, and welding parameters.
• Review WPS, PQR, welder qualification records, MTCs, and welding documentation.
• Coordinate NDT activities (RT, UT, MT, PT) as applicable.
• Identify defects and NCRs and ensure timely corrective actions and closure.
• Maintain inspection reports, weld maps, test reports, and QA/QC dossiers.
• Coordinate with construction teams, subcontractors, client reps, and third-party inspectors.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi Aramco standards and applicable codes; support handover activities.
