Job summary

Confidential is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer in Riyadh to ensure banking applications meet high quality, reliability, and security standards. You will design tests, automate where possible, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate core banking and digital channel flows.

The role requires 6+ years in QA within banking, hands-on automation with Selenium/Cypress/Appium/Playwright, API testing, and strong SQL skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of QA/testing experience, with banking sector exposure.
• Hands-on automation with Selenium, Cypress, Appium, or Playwright.
• Experience in API testing using Postman, REST Assured, or similar.
• Knowledge of test management tools such as Jira, Xray, TestRail, or ALM.
• Strong SQL skills for data validation.
• ISTQB certification is a plus.
• Saudi candidate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, write, and run test plans, test cases, and test scripts for banking applications
• Do functional, integration, regression, system, and UAT support testing
• Build and maintain automated test frameworks
• Test APIs, integrations, and core banking and digital channel flows (mobile and web)
• Log, track, and manage defects through to resolution
• Take part in Agile ceremonies and work closely with developers and business analysts
