Job summary

Focus Infotech in Riyadh is seeking a Test Manager – Banking UAT & Certification to lead end-to-end UAT, regulatory testing, and quality assurance for core banking platforms in Saudi Arabia. You will define test strategies, establish quality gates, and govern defect management while coordinating with C-level stakeholders and external vendors.

The role requires 12–15+ years in software testing with 5+ years in Banking UAT management, deep SAMA/regulatory exposure, and proven ability to deliver

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Finance, or a related discipline.
• 12 to 15+ years of professional experience in software testing and quality assurance within financial services.
• 5+ years of specialized Banking UAT Management and test leadership.
• Deep expertise in regulatory testing, financial certification frameworks, and compliance validation.
• Strong proficiency with modern test management tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps, HP ALM / Quality Center).
• Excellent stakeholder management, vendor coordination, and executive communication capabilities.
• Residency/work authorization: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Responsibilities

• Own, define, and execute comprehensive UAT and certification strategies across core banking and financial service platforms.
• Define and enforce strict quality gates and entry/exit criteria across all software testing and release cycles.
• Plan, manage, and govern end-to-end UAT, regulatory testing, and financial certification lifecycles.
• Oversee enterprise defect management workflows, defect prioritization, triage meetings, and timely resolution.
• Ensure complete regulatory and compliance readiness aligned with central banking and regional financial mandates (e.g., SAMA).
• Coordinate proactively with business stakeholders, technology teams, vendors, and executive leadership.
• Establish effective test governance frameworks, quality controls, testing metrics, and KPI tracking dashboards.
• Prepare and present executive-level testing reports, status updates, and risk mitigation summaries to senior management.
• Drive testing progress tracking, dependency identification, cross-functional risk analysis, and prompt issue resolution.
• Mentor, lead, and provide technical governance to QA engineers, UAT coordinators, and testing specialists.
