Qualifications

  • 8+ years progressive PM experience, 3+ years in senior PM roles.
  • Proven track record delivering large projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid PM approaches.
  • Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Expertise in risk, change and stakeholder management.
  • Proficient in MS Project, Jira and Asana.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, global, cross-cultural environments.
  • Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct post-project reviews and lessons learned.

Job description

As a Senior Project Manager at Hitachi, Ltd., you will lead and manage complex, large-scale projects from initiation to closure, ensuring successful delivery within scope, budget, and timeline. Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent certification (e.g., PRINCE2) is required.
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in project management, with at least 3 years in a senior project management role, preferably within a large, multinational technology or engineering company.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex, large‑scale projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong understanding of various project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate at all levels.
  • Expertise in risk management, change management, and stakeholder management.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Asana) and collaboration tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience with global teams and cross‑cultural communication is highly desirable.
  • Fluency in English is required.
