Job summary

Taj Dhabi is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead and coordinate engineering and construction activities across the full project lifecycle in Saudi Arabia. The role requires close collaboration with Project Management, QA/QC, HSE, Procurement, and clients to ensure alignment with drawings, specs, schedules, and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities include reviewing drawings and submittals, guiding junior engineers, resolving design conflicts, and driving constructability improvements

Qualifications

• Must have a broad civil/structural/mechanical/electrical engineering background.
• Experience leading engineering and construction activities across large projects.
• Proven ability to coordinate across multiple disciplines and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager and Engineering Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing project engineering and construction activities.
• Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary engineering activities across multiple work fronts and project phases.
• Ensure construction activities are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, project schedules, contractual requirements, and applicable standards.
• Review and coordinate engineering drawings, shop drawings, design documents, specifications, calculations, material submittals, and technical documentation.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to Project Engineers, Site Engineers, junior engineers, and construction teams.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to identify and resolve design conflicts, technical discrepancies, constructability issues, and site constraints.
• Review construction methodologies and provide technical recommendations to improve constructability, productivity, quality, and project execution.
• Monitor engineering and construction progress against the approved project schedule and ensure critical activities remain aligned with project milestones.
• Coordinate closely with Construction Managers, Site Engineers, Supervisors, subcontractors, and specialist contractors to ensure efficient execution of works.
