Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Riyadh seeks a seasoned Project Controls Manager to lead planning, scheduling, cost control, risk management, and reporting for a major site supervision project. You will drive forecasting, KPI reporting, and governance, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely delivery.

The ideal candidate has 15+ years in project controls, strong Primavera P6 and Power BI skills, and a track record on large building schemes within consultancy or construction environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Quantity Surveying, or related discipline.
• Master’s Degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Engineering, or Business Administration preferred.
• Professional certifications such as PMP, PMI-SP, PSP, EVP, AACE are highly desirable.
• Minimum 15+ years of experience in project controls, planning, scheduling, and performance management.
• Minimum 8 years as a Project Controls Manager on large-scale building construction projects.
• Experience with large developments and site supervision consultancy environments.
• Arabic language skills are an advantage; fluency in English required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all project controls activities including planning, scheduling, cost management, risk management, progress measurement and reporting.
• Establish and maintain Project Controls Framework, procedures, and reporting systems.
• Review contractor baselines, revised schedules, and change procedures to ensure alignment with project goals.
• Develop integrated controls systems to monitor schedule, cost, risk and performance metrics.
• Prepare dashboards, management reports, and KPI reports for client and senior management review.
• Lead forecasting of completion dates, resources, and performance projections.
• Coordinate with planning, commercial, engineering, construction and supervision teams for objective alignment.
• Oversee cost tracking, reporting, change management, and EOT claims analysis.
• Mentor project controls engineers, planners, and reporting specialists.
