Job summary

NEW Alfa International in Medina, Saudi Arabia is hiring a Planning Officer PPC to support the Production Planning and Control function. You will assist the Planning Manager by preparing daily production schedules, maintaining MPS, and monitoring plan vs. actual progress.

The role requires 2–5 years in PPC or related fields, a Diploma or Bachelor’s in a relevant field, English fluency, and knowledge of SAP. Arabic is a plus; prior steel fabrication or heavy engineering exposure is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 2–5 years of experience in PPC, Production Planning, Data Entry, Manufacturing or Inventory Control.
• Age 28–38 years.
• English speaking, reading & writing; Arabic language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support the Planning Manager in preparing daily production schedules.
• Maintain production planning sheets and Master Production Schedule (MPS).
• Monitor planned vs actual production and project-wise progress.
• Create, update and close production work orders in SAP.
• Maintain production material inventory and WIP records.
• Update material receipts, issues, transfers and consumption.
• Coordinate with Stores, Production, Quality, Procurement, Galvanizing and Dispatch.
• Maintain accurate production reports, work orders, material slips and daily progress reports.
• Update SAP production orders, BOM, inventory, material transactions and production confirmations.
• Prepare daily, monthly and management production planning reports.
• Ensure SAP records match physical production records.
• Identify discrepancies and report them to the Planning Manager.
