Job summary

The Advanced Petrochemical Company in Saudi Arabia seeks a seasoned Maintenance Supervisor to oversee plant maintenance activities, manage a team, and enforce work permit procedures. You will ensure quality and safety standards, implement preventive maintenance, prepare reports, and coordinate training.

The role requires extensive experience in CMMS/SAP and budgeting, with a track record of leading multinational teams.

Qualifications

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with 10+ years in petrochemical maintenance.
At least 6 years in a supervisory role in a maintenance context.
Experience setting up CMMS (preferably SAP) and managing rotating and static equipment.

Responsibilities

Supervises plant maintenance activities and ensures work requests follow work permit procedures.
Monitors adherence to quality and safety standards, including EHSS and PSM procedures.
Establishes or updates preventive maintenance schedules for pumps, compressors, turbines and motors.
Prepares daily, weekly and monthly reports on progress, equipment issues, overtime, manpower and budgets.
Analyses equipment failures, defines corrective actions, and oversees repair implementations with technical support.
Coordinates training programs for Saudi employees, including on-the-job and fast-track development.
Coordinates with other supervisors to plan maintenance work and assists in emergency repairs.
Reviews material, manpower and contracts to minimize downtime and enforce safety requirements.
Attends daily operations and cross-team meetings as assigned.
