Job summary

Alfanar Electric is seeking an experienced professional for the role of Section Manager - Material Planning in Saudi Arabia. The incumbent will oversee material planning, inventory management, and procurement coordination to ensure timely availability of materials for production.

The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize material flow, reduce shortages and enable on-time manufacturing while maintaining cost efficiency and process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Approximately 10–15 years of relevant professional experience in material planning or supply chain.
• Experience in coordinating with procurement, production, warehouse and logistics teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee material planning activities and ensure timely availability of materials for production schedules.
• Monitor inventory levels and optimize stock to balance availability against carrying costs.
• Collaborate with procurement and production to align schedules and material delivery.
• Track KPIs and prepare regular management reports on inventory and planning performance.
• Identify and mitigate risks affecting material availability and lead times.
