Job summary

Alliance Recruitment Agency is seeking an experienced Procurement Operations professional to drive sourcing, vendor management, and cost control for construction projects.

You will identify suppliers, obtain quotes, negotiate contracts, ensure quality and timely deliveries, and collaborate with project managers, engineers, and finance to optimize spend and supplier performance. A bachelor's degree and 3–5 years of procurement experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in SCM, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3-5 years of procurement experience, preferably in construction or real estate.
• CIPS or CPSM certification is a plus.
• Experience with procurement software and ERP systems is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Identify and source suppliers, vendors, and contractors for materials and services required for projects.
• Obtain and evaluate quotes, negotiate prices, and finalize procurement contracts to secure optimal terms.
• Ensure all purchases meet quality standards, project specifications, and delivery timelines.
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure reliability and consistency.
• Conduct vendor evaluations and audits to assess performance, compliance, and suitability.
• Resolve supplier issues related to delivery, quality, or payment to maintain smooth operations.
• Maintain procurement records, including purchase orders, contracts, and delivery notes.
• Prepare and submit reports on procurement activities, cost savings, and supplier performance.
• Monitor procurement expenditures to ensure alignment with project budgets.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities through strategic sourcing and negotiation.
• Collaborate with the Finance Manager to ensure timely payment of supplier invoices.
• Work closely with project managers and engineers to understand procurement needs and timelines.
• Provide regular updates on the status of purchase orders and delivery schedules to internal stakeholders.
• Liaise with the warehouse team to ensure proper receipt and storage of materials.
• Conduct market research to stay updated on pricing, trends, and availability of construction materials.
• Identify and recommend new suppliers or alternative materials to optimize project outcomes.
