Job summary

DCT, a subsidiary of Abunayyan Holding, seeks a Senior Presales Engineer to lead technical pre-sales, develop concept designs, and perform BOQ/cost breakdowns tailored to the Saudi market. You will design Data Center power architectures per Uptime Institute / TIA-942 standards, prepare cost estimates, and support the sales team with presentations and bid defenses to ensure competitive pricing.

This role requires deep knowledge of local SEC regulations and Saudi supply chain dynamics to deliver

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Electrical Estimation.
• At least 5 years in Pre-Sales and Estimation for Data Center projects.
• Strong expertise in concept design for Tier II, Tier III, and Tier IV topologies.
• Familiarity with local Saudi regulations, SBC standards, and supply chain dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Develop technical concept designs and high-level SLDs for Data Center power architecture.
• Design power distribution systems (Transformers, Switchgears, Busway, UPS, Generators, PDUs, ATS).
• Prepare comprehensive BOQ and cost estimation for proposals.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local market pricing and suppliers.
• Support the sales team with client presentations, clarifications, and bid defenses.
• Evaluate vendor quotations technically and commercially to optimize margins.

Role Purpose:

Senior Presales Engineer is responsible for leading the technical pre-sales cycle, developing concept designs, performing BOQ/cost breakdowns, and ensuring accurate, competitive pricing tailored to the Saudi Arabian market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop technical concept designs and high-level single-line diagrams (SLDs) for Data Center power architecture in accordance with Uptime Institute / TIA-942 standards.
• Design power distribution systems, including Transformers, Switchgears, Busway, Cable Management, UPS systems, Generators, PDUs, and ATS.
• Prepare comprehensive Cost Estimation, Bill of Quantities (BOQ), and price breakdowns for commercial proposals.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local Saudi market pricing, suppliers, and distributors (e.g., Schneider Electric, ABB, Vertiv, Eaton, Huawei, Kohler, Caterpillar, Cummins…. etc.).
• Support the sales team in client presentations, technical clarifications, and bid defense.
• Evaluate vendor quotations technically and commercially to optimize project margins.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Minimum 8 years of experience in Electrical Estimation, with a minimum of 5 years dedicated to Pre-Sales and Estimation for Data Center projects.
• Strong expertise in concept design for Tier II, Tier III, and Tier IV topologies.
• Proven track record in BOQ breakdown and cost estimation in Saudi Arabia.
• Deep familiarity with local SEC regulations, SBC standards, and KSA supply chain dynamics.
