The role provides senior-level direction for master scheduling, construction sequencing, progress measurement, critical-path analysis, delay management, recovery planning, schedule controls, and project reporting. Working closely with the Project Director, construction managers, contractors, consultants, project controls, commercial, procurement, design, and client teams, the Senior Planning Manager will ensure construction activities are properly planned, monitored, and controlled against approved programs, budgets, quality requirements, milestones, and contractual obligations.

Schedule and Project Controls
The Senior Planning Manager will maintain clear visibility of construction progress and emerging schedule risks throughout project delivery. This includes detailed critical-path analysis, progress measurement, schedule forecasting, delay assessment, recovery scheduling, and monitoring contractor performance against contractual schedules. The role will coordinate with cost-control and commercial teams to align reported schedule progress with project costs and forecasts. It will also support assessment of extension-of-time claims, delay-related submissions, changes, and other schedule matters with contractual implications.
The Senior Planning Manager will provide strategic leadership for construction planning and scheduling, ensuring project progress is accurately measured and schedule performance remains transparent throughout delivery. The position will identify delays at an early stage, coordinate appropriate recovery actions, and maintain focus on approved milestones and contractual requirements.
