Job summary

Parsons in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia seeks a Senior Planning Manager - Construction to lead programme-wide planning, scheduling, and project controls across a major PMCM programme. You will oversee the Program Master Schedule, coordinate with clients, contracts teams, design and engineering, and construction leaders to ensure integrated, accurate schedules and timely recovery actions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from a recognized university.
• Minimum 15 years in project controls and scheduling for engineering/construction.
• Supervisory or managerial experience leading planning teams.
• Experience supporting projects at the design stage.
• Familiarity with PMCM services and Primavera scheduling technology.

Responsibilities

• Manage programme-wide planning, scheduling, and project controls activities.
• Maintain the Program Master Schedule with approved scope and milestones.
• Develop strategic planning initiatives aligned to client requirements.
• Provide guidance to project teams for complex schedule problems.
• Lead the planning team and evaluate performance.
• Interface with client, consultants, Contracts, design and engineering teams.
• Attend progress meetings, provide updates and recommendations.
• Coordinate planning with multiple departments and priorities.
• Analyze market trends and schedule data to support decisions.
• Prepare reports on progress, risks, and recovery actions.
• Mitigate risks related to scheduling interfaces and changes.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and governance requirements.
• Improve planning processes and adopt new scheduling technologies.
• Assess schedule impact of design/construction changes and delays.
• Support integration of scope, cost, and schedule within WBS.
