Job summary
AtkinsRéalis in AlUla, Saudi Arabia, seeks a Senior Planning Engineer to lead and maintain schedules for high-profile mixed-use developments, hospitality destinations, cultural assets and landmark projects in the region. You will develop baselines, manage design, procurement and construction timelines, and provide strategic planning support across all project phases.
The role requires strong project controls, earned value analysis, monthly progress reporting, and KPI development.
Qualifications
- 15 years of experience in heritage/hotels/master planning projects in the region
- Track record delivering complex schedules for mixed-use developments
- Arabic speaking and writing an advantage
Responsibilities
- Develop baseline schedules and manage master planning, design, procurement and construction timelines
- Prepare overview and strategic programs with required schedules
- Monitor progress, report monthly, and develop dashboard templates across the programme
- Review contractor and designer schedules for alignment with project objectives
- Provide earned value status and deviation analysis to management
- Interface daily with designers, PMCs, contractors, and management
