Job summary

Parsons in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia is seeking a Senior Planner - Project Scheduling to lead the development and control of fully integrated master schedules for major infrastructure programmes. Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Lead the preparation and maintenance of fully integrated Master Project Schedules.
  • Develop detailed baseline programmes using Primavera P6 and approved scheduling procedures.
  • Define activity logic, relationships, calendars, constraints, durations, and project milestones.
  • Confirm that engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover activities are correctly sequenced.
  • Review contractor schedules for technical quality, contractual compliance, and achievable delivery logic.
  • Perform advanced Critical Path Method analysis.
  • Identify critical and near-critical activities that may affect programme completion.
  • Conduct schedule variance analysis against approved baselines.
  • Evaluate actual progress, remaining duration, productivity, and forecast completion dates.
  • Perform forensic delay analysis when required to understand the causes and impacts of slippage.
  • Develop recovery schedules and acceleration strategies for delayed work packages.
  • Assess contractor mitigation proposals and confirm whether planned measures are realistic.
  • Conduct quantitative schedule risk analysis to evaluate uncertainty around key milestones.
  • Maintain schedule risk registers and recommend practical mitigation actions.
  • Coordinate with cost engineering teams to align schedules with budgets and financial milestones.
  • Support resource loading, cost loading, and earned value management integration.
  • Review planned value, earned value, schedule performance, and productivity indicators.
  • Ensure schedule information supports project cash‑flow forecasts and management reporting.
  • Facilitate planning workshops with clients, contractors, consultants, and engineering teams.
  • Obtain stakeholder agreement on sequencing, interfaces, access requirements, and key dates.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary planning inputs across civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and utility scopes.
  • Review technical drawings, specifications, and construction methodologies to validate planned sequencing.
  • Identify unrealistic logic, missing scope, interface gaps, and resource conflicts.
  • Monitor contractor milestones and elevate emerging schedule risks promptly.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly schedule updates and progress reports.
