Job summary

Jones Engineering is seeking an energetic MEP Project Controls Engineer in Riyadh to oversee site MEP planning, progress reporting, and Primavera programme management. You will manage information across all project stakeholders to provide an accurate status and support leadership with concise reporting.

The role requires coordinating with project leads, tracking progress, and ensuring timely reporting, risk management, and EOT considerations for complex data center projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with MEP building services contractors.
• Data center MEP construction experience is a must.
• Minimum 3 years GCC experience is preferable.
• Able to handle a data center project independently.
• Advanced Primavera P6.
• Advanced MS-Excel.

Responsibilities

• Direct line of report to Project Manager during execution or Pre-Construction Manager during tender.
• Prepare master programme (Primavera) with resource loading.
• Review construction programmes from contractors and analyze against contracts.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports for client.
• Prepare 2/4-week lookaheads and diary for delays and mitigation.
• Coordinate risk assessments and delay mitigation plans.
• Record minutes of meetings and maintain project control documentation.
• Perform earned value analysis on a resource loaded programme.
