Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant professional experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with a Consultant/PMC organization.
• Strong background in reviewing designs, drawings, specifications, calculations, and submittals.
• Experience in design review, construction supervision, technical coordination, site execution, and contractor management.
• Strong knowledge of SBC and relevant international codes and standards.
• Registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, coordination, and technical reporting skills.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Review mechanical IFC drawings, shop drawings, calculations, material submittals, method statements, and technical submissions.
• Supervise HVAC, plumbing, drainage, firefighting, and other mechanical systems.
• Review equipment selections, technical data sheets, calculations, and manufacturers’ submissions.
• Coordinate mechanical systems with architectural, structural, electrical, infrastructure, and other disciplines.
• Review RFIs and resolve mechanical design, interface, and site technical issues.
• Conduct site inspections and review WIRs/MIRs.
• Monitor contractor performance, workmanship, progress, and quality.
• Review and witness testing, commissioning, and system performance activities.
• Review NCRs and verify corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with SBC, NFPA, ASHRAE, and other applicable standards.
• Review as-built drawings, O&M manuals, warranties, and close-out documents.

• Strong experience in design review, construction supervision, technical coordination, site execution, quality control, and contractor management.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi Building Code (SBC) and relevant international codes and standards.
• Registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) in the appropriate professional classification.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, coordination, and technical reporting skills.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
