Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in mechanical design.
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and material properties.
• Ability to prepare detailed technical drawings and design documentation.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed mechanical designs and technical drawings using CAD software.
• Conduct design analyses and simulations to evaluate performance, stress, and durability.
• Interpret requirements and translate them into comprehensive design solutions.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and product teams for feasibility and cost considerations.
• Select and analyze materials based on performance and manufacturability.
• Document design modifications and maintain engineering files and project records.
• Review designs against industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in design reviews and provide technical recommendations for improvement.
• Support prototyping and testing activities with design guidance.
