AECOM is seeking a Mechanical Engineer - Design in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia for a Mechanical or Industrial Engineering opportunity focused on the design, development, analysis, and optimization of mechanical components and systems. The role requires an experienced engineer who can translate technical requirements into practical designs, produce accurate engineering documentation, evaluate performance, and collaborate across manufacturing, quality, and product teams while maintaining compliance with applicable standards.
The role requires a strong understanding of mechanical design principles, engineering fundamentals, manufacturing processes, and material properties. The Mechanical Engineer will evaluate component performance and support the development of designs that balance functional requirements with manufacturability.
Experience with Finite Element Analysis and design simulation is preferred, particularly for evaluating stress, durability, performance, and opportunities for design optimization.
