Job summary

Fluor in Ras Al-Khair, Saudi Arabia, seeks an Area Manager (Mechanical) to lead mechanical construction, installation, commissioning and start-up for a large metals recycling/processing facility.

You will oversee EPC/EPCM contractors, coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams, and ensure adherence to codes, standards, and project schedules, with a focus on safety, quality, and execution excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering is required.
• Minimum 15+ years of experience in mechanical construction, commissioning or project execution in industrial facilities.
• Minimum 8+ years in a supervisory or area management role.

Responsibilities

• Lead all mechanical construction, installation, commissioning, and start-up activities within the assigned area.
• Manage mechanical equipment installation such as crushers, shredders, conveyors, reactors, pumps, tanks, Vessels, heat exchangers.
• Coordinate with engineering, process, electrical, instrumentation and operations teams to ensure integration of mechanical systems.
