Trs Staffing Solutions, Inc. is helping a client recruit an Area Manager (Mechanical) to lead all mechanical construction, commissioning, and start-up activities at the metals recycling facility in Ras Al-Khair, Saudi Arabia.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, 15+ years in heavy industrial projects, and 8+ years in supervisory roles, with strong leadership, coordination, and HSE ownership to deliver large-capital EPC/EPCM programs in the Mining & Metals sector.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 15+ years in mechanical construction, commissioning, or project execution in industrial facilities.
• 8+ years in supervisory, superintendent, or area management roles.
• Experience with EPC/EPCM projects and multidisciplinary teams.
• Familiarity with ASME, API, ISO standards and related industrial codes.
• Professional Engineering registration or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead all mechanical construction, installation, commissioning, and start-up activities within the assigned area of the metals recycling facility.
• Manage mechanical equipment installation including crushers, shredders, conveyors, reactors, pumps, tanks, and heat exchangers.
• Coordinate with engineering, process, electrical, instrumentation, and operations teams for successful system integration.
• Oversee EPC/EPCM contractors and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with specs, quality, safety, and schedules.
• Monitor progress, productivity, manpower utilization, and resources to meet milestones.
• Lead pre-commissioning, commissioning, and handover activities to meet performance targets.
• Resolve technical/construction issues and mitigate risks; ensure compliance with codes and project procedures.
• Review and approve contractor work plans, ITPs, and progress reports.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to engineers and field personnel with safety and execution excellence.
