Job summary

Ma'aden Gold and Base Metals (MGBM) seeks a seasoned Manager, Maintenance ARGP to lead reliability, maintenance planning, and asset integrity across mining and processing assets in Saudi Arabia. You will drive uptime, productivity, and cost optimization while ensuring safety and environmental stewardship.

This role reports to the Vice President, Mining Production within the Office of the Mine Manager - MM. The position requires 10–15 years in maintenance leadership within mining or heavy

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mining Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Deliver maintenance strategies to maximize asset availability and support production targets.
• Optimize maintenance expenditure while protecting asset performance and lifecycle value.
• Improve operational productivity through planning, scheduling, and resource utilization.
• Develop and implement reliability-centered maintenance programs to reduce downtime and improve asset performance.
• Strengthen preventative and predictive maintenance practices to enhance operational continuity.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives that increase equipment efficiency and operational effectiveness.
• Establish a maintenance culture prioritizing safety, asset integrity, and environmental stewardship.
• Ensure maintenance activities comply with regulatory, company, and industry requirements.
• Mitigate operational risks through proactive inspection, monitoring, and reliability management.
• Build a high-performing maintenance organization with strong technical and leadership capability.
• Develop succession pipelines and enhance workforce competency through coaching and structured development.
• Foster accountability, collaboration, and performance excellence across maintenance teams.
• Align maintenance priorities with production, technical services, procurement, and project functions.
• Strengthen supplier and contractor performance to improve service quality, reliability, and value delivery.
• Enable cross-functional decision-making that supports operational objectives.
• Leverage maintenance technologies, digital tools, and analytics to improve decision-making and asset performance.
• Drive reliability improvement programs that enhance efficiency and cost effectiveness.
• Embed a culture of innovation and continuous improvement across maintenance operations.
