Job summary

BEC Arabia in Khobar seeks a seasoned Technical - Structural Team Leader to guide our structural engineering efforts on high-profile projects, ensuring SBC and ARAMCO compliance while aligning with Saudi Vision 2030.

You will lead a multidisciplinary team, drive designs, calculations, and drawings, mentor engineers, and collaborate with architects, MEPs, and project managers to deliver safe, sustainable infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering (Master’s degree preferred).
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in structural engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Proficiency in structural analysis software such as ETABS, STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, and SAFE.
• Strong knowledge of SBC, ARAMCO standards, and international codes (ACI, AISC, BS).
• Registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE).
• Demonstrated expertise in BIM tools like Revit and Navisworks.
• Proven track record delivering large-scale commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the structural engineering team and deliver designs for complex projects.
• Develop and review detailed structural designs, calculations, and drawings in SBC and standards.
• Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, and project managers for seamless integration.
• Monitor progress and ensure timely milestones while maintaining quality and safety standards.
• Ensure compliance with SBC, ARAMCO standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Implement BIM and structural analysis tools (ETABS, STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, SAFE).
• Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of learning and innovation.
• Prepare technical reports, presentations, and client deliverables.
• Collaborate with procurement and construction teams to ensure feasible, cost-effective solutions.
