Job summary

BEC Arabia in Riyadh is seeking a highly skilled Land Surveyor to join our Construction team. You will perform topographic and boundary surveys, execute construction staking, and deliver precise data to project managers and engineers.

This field-based role emphasizes accuracy, SBC compliance, and collaboration with external stakeholders, including government agencies, to support Saudi Vision 2030 mega-projects and infrastructure initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a Land Surveyor in the construction or infrastructure sector.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center, and other surveying software.
• Hands-on experience with total stations, GPS systems, and laser scanning equipment.
• Registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE).
• Strong knowledge of Saudi Building Code (SBC) and relevant municipal regulations.
• Familiarity with GOSI and other compliance requirements for KSA-based roles.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct topographic surveys, boundary surveys, and construction staking to ensure project accuracy.
• Utilize total stations, GPS systems, and laser scanners to collect precise data.
• Prepare and maintain survey reports, maps, and drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to interpret survey data for designs.
• Verify accuracy of survey data and calculations at sites.
• Ensure SBC compliance and other regulatory standards.
• Monitor and document site progress to align with timelines.
• Provide technical guidance to junior surveyors and site teams.
• Coordinate with contractors and government agencies on survey issues.
• Maintain and calibrate surveying instruments for accuracy.
• Support safety protocols (ISO 45001) on-site and in documentation.
• Assist in as-built drawings and final project documentation.
